What does Wind Breaker season 2 episode 3 have in store for us?

The first episode began with Bofurin's guys heading towards the base of Keel, a notorious gang organization just like those that we encountered in the first season. However, Keel is expected to be the type of organization that doesn't value the will of their members, and those at the top are free to exploit the lesser members as they, please.

The battle that appeared to be the exchange of fits gradually turned into a matter of good and bad.

The second episode of the anime was action-packed, and several characters like Hayato Suō, Kyōtarō Sugishita, and Ren Kaji were pushed to the point where they had to lose control and their cool to end their particular battles.

By the end of the second episode, Bofurin emerged victorious and their will was restored. But the primary focus of this episode was to question the ultimate functioning of Bofurin, as to whether they are what they claim to be, (heroes) or something else entirely (punks, just like Keel).

In the third episode, we most likely would be able to see that the battle between Keel and Bofurin has come to an end, and just like the way it ended in the first season, we might come across the true intentions of Keel and the purpose of their functioning. We are yet to come across the final boss of Keel.

The Bofurin members would return to their town, and there seems to be a need for gathering for this group.

What role does Sakura play in this battle?

Since the very beginning, Sakura has presented a refined and strong fighting ability, which is witnessed and admired by many others, including some of the most renowned members of Bofurin, like Suo.

However, Sakura wasn't of much help during this battle as he was being occupied by Tareku Kongo, a scoundrel who enjoys treacherous methods on the battlefield.

In the second episode, Sakura easily overwhelms his opponent and begins to help the other members just the way he was supposed to. He gets involved in teamwork and does an amazing job by not letting Suo lose his cool.

  • Heterochromia Hero Alert

The reason behind Sakura's hair of two different colors is the mental stress that he had to go through. Sakura kept himself from getting attached to others as he was always insecure about his unusual appearance.

  • Fight Scenes That Go Brrrr

Studio CloverWorks flexes its animation muscles with slick, high-octane brawls. You Might have witnessed that the fight scenes are extraordinary with the perfect sync of music and animation.

  • Mystery Man Hayato’s Eyepatch

Why does chill fighter Hayato Suo wear an eyepatch? Fans are obsessed! Theories range from tragic backstories to secret superpowers. (Spoiler: The manga knows, but the anime’s keeping us guessing…)

  • Where Are the Adults?

Police? Teachers? Nah—this town runs on teen power.

What's Wind Breaker famous for?

Since you're in this article, you might have come across many animes where fighting is involved, however, throughout anime history, Tokyo Revengers is the one with the most popularity and admiration when it comes to plots such as

  • gangsters,
  • brawls,
  • exceptional characters with special fighting abilities
  • and strategies.

Wind Breaker is more or less the same as Tokyo Revengers if compared using the plots above. What sets the anime apart from Tokyo Revengers is the main character, Sakura, unlike Takemichi Hanagaki. He isn't weak or annoying, and neither does Sakura cry about the things he can't change. Instead, he finds an environment that accepts his true self and provides a significant role to play by fighting for the weak and protecting the town.

Sakura was initially presented as someone who prefers to work alone, but as time passes, he comes to address the fields where he lacks and accepts to change them. It was highly visible in the second episode of the second season that Sakura would continue to advance further by learning from his minor failures and working on them.
