Kaiju no. 8 has become a major source of fun in recent times with its weekly releases of anime episodes.
The story features Kafka Hibino a 32-year-old boy who gave up on his dream of joining the Japanese defence force which specialises in the neutralization of Kaijus.

Kafka was able to score well enough to pass the written test of the defence force exam. However, it was only the second phase where he failed.
Aside from being a powerful Kaiju, he’s not able to reveal its immense powers not could be used to aid in fighting on the battlefield.

For the first time, we witnessed the caption of the third division AKA Mina Ashiro saying something about Kafka.
She intends to remind Kafka about not being the same child whom he was friends with. She trained, worked hard and made a name for herself which even the civilians admired.

Putting aside the guilt of embarrassment, Kafka decides to go all out and apply all his knowledge about Kaijus to the battlefield and aid his fellow members.

Conclusion:
Kafka Hibino gave up on his dream of becoming a member of the Kaiju neutralization Japanese defence force. However, upon his interaction with Leno Ichikawa, he realises that it wouldn’t be fair to let things go when there were hope and opportunities.
He goes on to pass the examination required to qualify for becoming a defence force. But, since he could not make any impact on the front lines, he rather chose to apply the knowledge about Kaiju gained from his previous job and provide equal assistance.
Kafka Hibana is also the host of a powerful Kaiju who was numbered by the defence force as Kaiju number 8.
However, he can’t display the immense strength of his Kaiju form when there are other people around.
