In this article I have compared the strengths between the formidable characters and the main protagonist of their respective stories, Sung Jin Woo vs Naruto Uzumaki, from Solo Leveling Manhwa and Naruto MANGA.
It is recommended to go through both the Manga and Manhwa before proceeding any further in the article, as it contains tons of spoiler content.
Who Would Win if Naruto and Sung JinWoo fought?
Sung Jin Woo wins the fight no matter how we compare the two. Naruto is the strongest by the end of Shippuden. However, Sung Jin Woo Transcends to a God-like creature.
Jin Woo has an army of millions of immortal shadow soldiers who can solo even the Otsutsuki’s seen so far in Boruto.
Some of the Shadow Soldiers are the strongest after JinWoo in Solo Leveling verse, e.g. Bellion, Beru, and Igris.
Unlike Naruto’s shadow clones, the shadow soldiers have their own personalities. Their loyalty to Sung is unquestionable.
- They can control the situation of the battle on their own.
- They are indestructible.
- They reappear immediately after they are killed.
- They get stronger with time and experience.
Sung is Stronger than all the other Monarchs or rulers. He is the inheritor of Ashborn’s abilities and powers, who was known to be a special creation of the absolute being.
- No form of Rasengun would work on Sung Jin Woo.
- Tailed beast bombs can be dodged with little to no effort.
- Sung can regenerate even if he was hit by any of those.
- A sneak shadow clone attack won’t work on Sung Jin Woo.
- Naruto’s Charka is finite (Even with Kurama).

Naruto Uzumaki:
At first, we have Naruto Uzumaki, who started his way as a weak and ignored Ninja who was good at nothing but pulling pranks to gain people’s attention.
He was feared and hated by the people of his village because of a disastrous devil sealed inside of him in the form of Chakra.
Sung Jin Woo From Solo Leveling;
A boy who was called, ‘the weak hunter in the world’ and was mocked by his fellow hunters. However, things began to change for JinWoo when he was chosen by the system to be the inheritor of Ashborn’s abilities and powers.
Naruto Vs Sung Jin Woo, who is strong?
Speed and Teleportation:
Throughout Naruto and Boruto series, we encountered several feats from Naruto which explains that he is the fastest among the ninjas. (Not including Otsutsukis).
Naruto can’t teleport.
However, Sung Jin Woo is known to travel at a speed which is faster than light. This teleportation is on a different level.
Sung Jin Woo wins!
Strength;
Naruto’s Sage mode and Kurama are the main sources of his powers. You can judge his entire life based on the involvement of these two factors.
He is strong enough to deal with all the other Kages from the other four great nations alone. And he would do so without losing a sweat.
As far as it goes for Ninjas, Naruto’s skills and strengths are superior to any other Ninja in existence.
Hokage Naruto is alone enough to face all the members of Akatsuki, as his mastery over Sage mode and full control over Kurama greatly contribute to his overall performance.
Sung Jin-Woo;
Sung is physically indestructible. He took care of all the other Monarchs by going back into the past.
Naruto would be No Match for Sung when it comes to durability and physical endurance. No punches from Naruto would deal any serious damage to Sung.
Sung Jin Woo Wins.
Healing and regen;
Naruto’s healing is dependent on Kurama’s immense chakra. He can heal almost any wound within seconds.
Regeneration is not possible for Naruto.
Sung Jin Woo can heal as well as regenerate any limbs. His mana is almost close to infinite.
Naruto Baryon Mode vs Sung Jin Woo:
Baryon Mode is the strongest form of Naruto. Naruto and Kurama collide their Chakra together hence the mode.
Although there were other Jinjuriki’s just like Naruto. We haven’t got to see them forming any such modes, as a result, Naruto’s Baryon Mode is the only thing we get.
For a short time, Naruto gained powers that overwhelmed the likes of Issiki Otsutsuki. Each hit from Naruto was fatal and effective against Issiki.
The speciality of Baryon Mode is not limited to strength, durability or speed. Anyone physically closer to Naruto in Baryon mode would lose their life force the longer they remain in contact.
If Sung Jin Woo were to use powers to the fullest extent, this fight won’t laste more than a minute.
How can Naruto Defeat Sung Jin Woo?
Well, this article and the fight between Naruto and Sung Jin Woo were completely one-sided.
It’s about time for some hypothesis!
If Naruto has any change against SJW, it would be his Baryon mode.
And I already explained that even Boryon mode is no match against JinWoo, but, what If Naruto could use Baryon Mode Just like his sage mode?
I mean, if Naruto can tab into Baryon Mode anytime he wishes to.
If it were to happen and both of them had to fight physically, Naruto has a chance to somehow extend the duration of this fight and drain JinWoo’s life force constantly.
Let me clear that Baryon Mode’s life-draining ability doesn’t apply to the amount of the opponent’s chakra or mana in the case of SJW.
It hits the duration of life. Sung Jin Woo won’t lose any mana while fighting Naruto, but he will slowly lose the effectiveness of his ability if he is not immortal.
Even though Sung Jin Woo is immortal, he still is a life. The primary target of Baryon Mode is life.
I know it sounds hilarious, but given the fact that we are talking about the strongest weapon in Naruto’s arsenal, let us at least show the respect it deserves.
That’s the only possibility of Naruto defeating Sung Jin Woo.
Are Naruto and Sung Jin Woo Alike?
I thought it would be important to compare the personalities of the two as well.
Naruto Uzumaki was not raised by his parents and was bound by circumstances that caused him to be hated by his villagers.
He would then come across talented ninjas like Euroka, Kakashi Hatake and Jiraiya, who transformed Naruto’s life and cared for him as his parents.
Naruto resembles friendship, love and compassion. Even after he became strong, there was no place for revenge against the villagers within his heart. He holds no grudge against anyone.
Sung Jin Woo on the other hand, doesn’t like to waste his time trying to make everyone feel equal. He does what he thinks as important, even if it meant to resort to violence, Sung won’t hesitate.
He believes in action more than words. That’s the difference between Naruto and Sung Jin Woo.
Final thoughts about this comparison:
Enjoying the Manhwa is incomplete without you checking out some Solo Leveling quotes by Sung Jin Woo and others.
I hope you were able to determine the differences between the powers of Sung Jin Woo and Naruto Uzumaki.
This comparison was based on my knowledge and doesn’t include any official information from their respective authors or publishers.
I love both the Manhas and this comparison doesn’t promote any hate towards any of the two series.
